Why choose a locker with an app?
Have you chosen lockers with an electronic locking system, where the lock on each locker is wired separately and receives power via the grid? Then our app is the ideal way for users to claim, open and release those lockers. The app works via Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G and 5G and is available in iOS and Android. And there are even more advantages. For example, an app is also a cost-friendly choice. This is because no RFID interfaces need to be built in, as is the case with lockers with a badge or key fob. A locker with an app also prevents vandalism. Without the app, the locker simply won't open, so using force to break open a locker is pointless.
Choose a free locker remotely
An app is not only used for claiming and opening permanent, flexible or team locker. Users can also manage their locker remotely - from anywhere in the world. Does your organisation use flexible lockers instead of permanent lockers? In other words: instead of having a permanent locker, can people choose where they want to use which locker per day or per visit? In that case, they can find a suitable, free locker in the smartphone app themselves.
Online locker reservation and payment
If you choose lockers with an app, you can also use the online reservation system that WEWO Interior Concepts has developed in house. This allows users to easily select, reserve and if necessary, pay for a locker online. This is useful for events because it prevents crowds at the lockers. But in many other situations it is useful if users can start choosing their locker while they’re at home, for example at schools. Students who are not present every day can reserve a locker for classes and lectures from home. On the day itself, the user is automatically linked to their locker at the right time.
Locker materials
All lockers from WEWO Interior Concepts are made of wood or Volkern. Wooden lockers are finished with a strong top layer of HPL or melamine as standard.
Lockers with an app: the benefits for the administrator
Managing lockers should be easy - and that is also the case for our app-controlled lockers! The allocation (for regular users) and reservation of lockers is also managed by the app, for example. The administrator can also easily and quickly assign lockers to cleaning staff using the app. The cleaner can then open, clean, and close the lockers using the app. And if there is a problem with a particular locker, the administrator can use the app to assign the locker directly to technical support. The maintenance employee then also opens the locker with the app, repairs the locker, and closes it again
