Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR): you read and hear a lot about it. At WEWO Interior Concepts, this is not a hollow phrase.
For us, it means doing business while paying attention to People, Planet, and Profit, i.e., for people, the environment, and society. But: without losing sight of the profit motive. In fact, corporate social responsibility makes us as an organization better prepared for the future, results in cost-savings, our employees are happier, and we are able to more quickly respond to the market.
People: caring for our people
At WEWO Interior Concepts, we create a work environment in which each employee has equal access to information, development, and opportunities. An example: as a recognized training company, we always have several trainees in our organization who we prepare for the labour market with solid advice and supervision. In addition, we encourage employees to be economical with our planet on the one hand, and socially active on the other. We also benefit from this, because employees who feel better are more productive.
Planet: caring for the environment
During the production of our customized solutions, we take as many measures as possible in an environmentally friendly way. For our wholesale transport, for example, we only choose companies that have caring for our planet high on their priority list. We also actively invest in order to be able to operate in a climate-neutral way. An example of this is the placement of solar panels on the roof of our building in Holten. Additionally, our new assembly hall has a GPR-certificate with the evaluation 'very good’. This is comparable to BREEAM excellent.
Profit: caring for our surroundings
We turn a profit for the continuity of our company. It’s not an intrinsic goal. It’s mainly the warm reactions of satisfied customers that make us happy. Still, we don't lose sight of the profit motive, because it has an economic impact on our surroundings. This allows us to hire more employees, outsource more work, and support more local initiatives.
