Customized outdoor lockers for sup boardsStand up paddle boarding (also known as sup boarding) is an emerging water sport born on the waves of Hawaii. This sport is now also practised enthusiastically by water lovers in the Netherlands. Sup Sup Club has responded to this by renting out sup boards in many different locations. We were allowed to provide the lockers in which these boards are stored.

The concept of Sup Sup Club works as follows. Customers first choose a location via their website, where they confirm the rental of their sup board via an iDEAL payment. At a time of their choosing, they then open a locker with the smartphone and take their sup board. The now-empty sup board locker can be used for storing valuables during the sup boarding session. And these customized lockers… were made in Holten, by WEWO Interior Concepts.

In the sun or in cold temperatures: any temperature is good for a sup session. This means that the outdoor lockers we developed exclusive for Sup Sup Club - approximately four meters of lockers in total - must be resistant to weather and wind as well. And they are. Developed entirely by us, this unique product is ideally suited for outdoor use. Furthermore, the locker units are equipped with various accessories and have a beautiful design in the house style of the Sup Sup Club.
Lockers with Metra locking system
The locker units can be built in a modular fashion and can be easily expanded. Furthermore, all lockers are equipped with a Metra locking system. The lockers are connected to the central Metra software and therefore monitored via the web. This is necessary, because customers reserve their board (and thus their locker) entirely online - from location selection to payment. They then open and close the locker with an app which works via Wi-FI, 3G, and 4G, and is available for iOS and Android.
