Matoma's locker management software - called NetLocker - runs in the cloud and therefore did not need to be integrated into the company's internal infrastructure. Data protection is also paramount in the software - an important requirement for the client. Employees are notified by email when post is ready for them. They can then pick up their post themselves or appoint a colleague who can do this for them. Internal identity cards are used to ensure that the post is then picked up by the right person. In the software, the administrator also sees exactly what happens to all post and packages in the organisation. When was something delivered, and to which post locker? And who picked it up and when?
